Use It and Loose It

When you are on a diet to loose weight, you should consider taking Phendrazene. This unique supplement helps your body to burn fat. It has natural thermogenic ingredients to replace the ones your body is loosing as you grow older.

Thermogenics is the production of heat and our bodies all have those natural functions. As we age, those functions decrease and can lead to weight gain. Phendrazene assists the body's thermogenics and burn excess fat.

Phendrazene does much more though. It increases your energy level throughout the day and surpresses your appetite and food cravings. It is totally safe, has no harmful ingredients, is non-addictive and can be used with almost any diet.

It comes in a clear capsule, containing the appropriate dosages of active ingredients and is easy to take. Since it comes in capsules, you can incorporate it in any schedule or weight plan.

Extremely important is, it has no side-effects! You read that right. None whatsoever, not even a headache or shakiness. Since it's ingredients are well-balanced, it can be taken by both men and women.

If this got your curiosity and you would like to try it, you can get a 30-day risk free trial! Phendrazene, use it and loose it!

Going Dutch

Maybe you know I am from the Netherlands. If you didn't know... you do now, haha. Several people have asked me if and what the differences are between the States and the Netherlands and I thought I might share some with you.

One of the major difference I am still quite amazed about are the vast wooded areas that just don't seem to end. The seize of the "woods" I was used to would prolly make you laugh. They are designated areas and often protected by the Department of Agriculture, Nature and Foodquality. And there are not many. Not surprisingly when you consider there are 16.292.000 people living in a total area of 25.790 square miles of which 21.005 is land and 4.785 is water. Land below sea level is 26 % and National parks are 2.8 % of the total area.

Here, each time we drive, I expect to see cities, towns or at least several houses or industrial areas lurking behind the next curve. But no... more woods, miles and miles and miles of woods! To me, born and raised in a crowded cramped little country, that is incredible. I still haven't got used to it. I hope I never will, for I enjoy it immensely:-)

Maybe you would enjoy the vast fields of flowers that are grown in the Netherlands for national and international export. Something I haven't seen much around here. The prices of flowers in the states are outrageous to me. I was used to buying a big bunch of tulips or narcissus for $2 and for around $10 you could buy a beautiful bouquet. I suppose importing them makes them so pricy.

This is just one of the differences and I may bore you with more in some future posts, hehe. But for now, let me treat you to a view from what used to be "my neck of the woods".

Mind Your Business

You can tell I am a foreigner as soon as I open my mouth. My accent is ever present, even after all those years in the States, haha. I guess I will never loose it, unless I would take a language course, focusing on accent reduction, as well as Business English.

My English is pretty good, so I am told. Listening to businesses, enterprises and marketing programs and reading articles about them, shows me otherwise. So many words I do not understand. I can only imagine how difficult that is, being a foreigner and working in that sector. Plus, an accent is only distracting.

Executive Language Training is specialised in providing English and foreign business language training, based on your learning style and professional goals.

Business English
to improve your English business. Sounds good, without the accent! :-)

Our New Grandson!

Our second grandson showed his little face to the world yesterday evening around 7.30!

Yes, he is a few weeks early, born with a c-section, but strong and healthy. He is 19" long and weighs 5 pounds and 14 oz. Both mother and youngest little critter are doing well. He has to stay in the hospital for observation for 24 hours. Standard procedure, because he is a little over 36 weeks.

I hope to post some pics soon. For now... our almost one-year-old grandson, unaware yet of having a little brother, is pulling the slippers from my feet, trying to break off some toes. He is up early. But so are we. :-)

Lifted Up

I like aging in grace and I don't mind the wrinkles and the crows feet. I can understand though, it may concern others when they look at themselves in the mirror. Sometimes cosmetic surgery is needed from an emotional standpoint. Being happy with how you look on the outside, enhances your inner well-being.

The best Minnesota cosmetic surgery is done by Dr. Szachowicz. Both he and his staff care about your outer, but also inner appearance. They take the time to get to know you, the reasons for your decision and present you with a tailor made treatment plan.

Seems to me, this plastic surgery does not only lift your face, but your spirit as well!

Hand

Inspired by:
John 10:28
28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

I did this drawing for our oldest when she needed some encouragement and comfort in her life.

I apologise for the poor quality of the drawing. It is a copy of the original and didn't come out too well. But I am sure you get the picture, so to speak. :-)

Not all of my drawings are in the slide-show in the side-bar. If you would like to see all I have done so far, just click on it and it will take you to my "artsy" site.

Keep Out! Private Property

If I was to buy a house, I would be looking at a mortgage and home insurances, but I would never have thought about the title! I had no clue it even existed.

Let me explain: I buy a house from the owner and I think, because I have all the home-owner's papers, I own the house. Maybe not! Others, individuals, corporations, contractors, governmental bodies, may have a claim, or lien on the property as well and I wouldn't even know it. That could result in future claims or losses.

title insurance protects from future claims and losses due to events prior to the purchase and provides coverage in case they occur.

A reputable title insurance company can tell you whether you are obtaining a clear title, inform you if there are any other existing rights to the property and gives coverage for "hidden risks". The last are rights or claims that do not show up in public records and can come back to bite you.

Good title companies does more then just insure you. They defend you in court, if need be, without it costing you a thing. When proven valid, they also bear the costs of settling the case, protecting your title while you keep your assets.

It makes me wonder how many properties with the sign "Keep Out! Private Property", really are private.

Thanks!!

I suspect this one will make up for the Mom test! One day, long, long ago, there was this woman who did not whine, nag or complain ........

But this was a long time ago.....
and it was just ONE day.

The End.

Geeezzz, Thanks!! grin. Okay, feel free to burst out laughing, I am a woman and I couldn't help but laugh about this. It is funny, although taking some time to consider this, I have to admitted (just looking at myself) it's true. We can strive to be as perfect as we can, which I think is admirable. A small consolation: nobody is totally perfect. I can only imagine how dull and boring the world and life would be if we were! In case you didn't notice, that last sentence is good justification to keep up the whining, nagging and complaining, haha.

Brand New

Looking at all those brand names HDTVs, I can't help but think it is a lot of money. I don't like to spend so much on a new TV, or a related product for that matter, when I can get a great deal!

Second Act takes advantage of close outs, overstocks and more. They buy and resell them at the lowest cost. Can't get any better, huh? Yes, it can! With those already low prices, they have a feature of the day, with even more discount. Each day a different one and if you are interested, you can be kept up to "day" by email or RSS.

The best deals are at Second Act. Don't let that name fool you. Everything is brand new and customer service is the first act! :-)

In A Bind

Cash advance and payday loans are the order of the day. There are so many, it is extremely difficult to know which ones are the best, and which ones to avoid. It is quick and easy to get a payday loan or cash advance. It is not so simple to find a secure lender. So how do you find out?

"Mouth to mouth" advertisement is the best, of course, but nowadays you can also see how a payday loans website is ranked. People, who have used these sites, have reviewed and rated them and even left their comments. That makes is easier for any one else to know, whether that particular site is reliable and trustworthy. Also, if a provider's product is as good as it is portrait. Usually, you find that last out after you have already obligated yourself.

TrustSource.org provides you with all you need to make the best choice. A reliable and easy to use website, offering many options. Look before you leap and visit TrustSource.org first, when you need some extra cash. A payday loan or cash advance is to help you out, not to get you in a bind!

Help Wanted!

The siding of our house needs to be replaced badly. It should have been done last year. We had it all in the planning, but we never got around to it. We can not postpone it another year, it has to be done.

If it was just replacing the siding, I guess it would be fine, but it also means having to paint the entire house. A time consuming work and we don't like to do that ourselves. Our plate is full as it is.

I wish we had the Houston painting experts of All-Tex in Alabama. They give you a free assessment, no cost or obligation estimate and they are reliable to follow through quickly. They use the best paint and give a 4 year labor warranty on exterior jobs!

Hey, you guys.... there is a house here, that desperately needs some new curb appeal!!

The Mom Test

My mom always used to say:"Drunks and kids always speak the truth!" I don't know how much I can rely on that, haha. I truly do apologise to all you Dads reading this. As soon as I come across a Dad Test, I will post it and you can have your revenge. :-)

The Mom Test

I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that.

'Why?' my daughter asked.

'Because it's been on the ground, you don't know where it's been, it's dirty, and probably has germs,' I replied.

At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and asked, 'Momma, how do you know all this stuff. You are so smart.'

I was thinking quickly, 'All moms know this stuff. It's on the Mom Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Mom.'

We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new information.

'Oh...I get it!' she beamed, 'So if you don't pass the test you have to be the dad.'

''Exactly,' I replied back with a big smile on my face.

That was so cute, I simply had to share it with y'all. I hope you had a good laugh out of it. I did. grin.

How Much Is That Doggie...

Oh, they are so adorable!
I was looking at the Salt Creek Kennel website, a USDA certified kennel. They breed and raise Maltese, Yorkie, English bulldog, and French bulldog puppies.

All the puppies are raised at home, so they receive quality care and are well-socialized. The AKC has specific breeding standards, which you may want to check out before you look at a Yorkie puppy for sale, or any of the other ones mentioned above.

A priority is, you being able to rely on the kennel to provide a healthy, happy puppy that meets your needs and expectations. A close relationship, even after the purchase of the puppy, is pursued by this kennel to help you with any questions you may have in the future.

For Salt Creek Kennel, trust, communication and high quality breed are on top of their list. They are committed to customer satisfaction. That is what is needed. After all, you want to end up with "man's best friend", don't you?! :-)

Not Much Longer

It's been extremely hectic these past several day.
Youngest had to go to the hospital Friday afternoon, because she was having contractions all day long. My husband took her to the hospital, since her husband was at work, and I watched our little critter.

The nurse gave her pills to stop the contractions, no dilation yet, and after about 4 hours, they got back and stayed till her husband got off from work. The pills helped for a little bit.

Saturday night they went to the ER, since the contractions didn't stop, and dropped little critter off around 1 AM. He was out of his rhythm, but oh so sweet and in such a good disposition. :-) I finally got him to sleep around 5 AM. Since there still was no dilation, they gave daughter shots to stop the contractions and kept her there until the next morning for the doctor to see her. After that, she was dismissed. Both her and her husband were exhausted, so we let them catch up on some needed rest while we kept our little grandson here for the rest of the day.

Monday work started and catching up on the things that had been set aside. We both are exhausted. I have to admit, I can feel my age, haha. Today I am going over to her and help her clean up and what ever else needs doing. God will give what's needed, when it's needed!

We kind of expect our second grandson to be here before his due date. Even the doctor suspected he would be earlier and said this baby was bigger then our first little critter was.

We just hope all will go well! :-)

Hands

This drawing represents so much. Friendship, relief, encouragement, peace and most of all, the knowledge of not being alone. Even though you may be/feel physically alone, spiritually the best friend you ever had is always waiting for you! :-)

The drawing is based on the following verse:

Matthew 11:28
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

What a lovely and peaceful knowledge! :-)

Someday

Even though I am from Europe, I have not seen that much of it. I would love to take a tour, starting at Dublin for instance. After a stay in one of the hotels for a few days I would move on to London, find a cheap, but quality hotel, see the sights and travel to the main land.

I would skip Amsterdam, since I am from The Netherlands and already know most of the great attractions and sight-seeings. Slowly but surely I would tour from west to east and see as much as I could.

On the other hand, the US has got so much to offer as well. So many cities and states I would love to visit. I would probably go from New York to California. I wouldn't worry about hotels in New York, they are easily booked.

For now, traveling and sightseeing is just a wish. Maybe someday my wish will come true. :-)

Memorable

With Valentine's Day coming up, I have no doubt many will pop the question and start planning their wedding.

How about having a unique and romantic wedding in New Zealand? There are lots of excellent New Zealand Hotels to accommodate you and your guests. They also makes for a great Honeymoon!

Take the Auckland Hotels for instance. A vibrant night life, lots of restaurants, the casino and so much more and still secluded from traffic and street noises, while you get quality and competitive prices.

If you like diversity and variety in landscape, New Zealand should be high on your list. Take a vacation and start at the Wellington Hotels with the shops right at your disposal and only a short walk away from the Botanical gardens.

From there you can tour the country and stay at one of the luxurious and private Christchurch Hotels ,located on the beach and with the Bottle Lake Forest close by.

Be sure to take lots of pictures. New Zealand has so much to offer, it will be a cherished memory for life.

On Pins And Needles Part II

When I had my first injection, I didn't do it myself... yet. I was scared to death and extremely nervous about it. The nurse was so sweet and when she was about to give me the shot and noticed (which was not difficult, haha) how horrified I was, she looked up at me and compassionately said: " I know, honey."
I glanced at her while she was holding the syringe right above my skin and replied: " If I can look at it, I will be fine! I just need to get over that point." And before I knew it, while I was still watching, she plunged in the needle. Arrghhh.... ehhh.... ??!! That's it? That wasn't too bad. I didn't feel anything, until the fluid went it. It burned and stung terribly. And then it was over! Well, guess what? I got over my fear and am doing it myself:-)

It's incredible to see the effect that the Humira already had, after that first shot. On the following Thursday, we could see the swellings around my knuckles in my hands had gone down to almost half their proportions. Let me put it this way: I could actually see I had knuckles, something I hadn't been able to see for a long time because of all the swelling! The medicine takes it's full effect within a few months and true enough! All the swellings are gone and I have no pain whatsoever. Not even when I overdo. Praise The Lord!

So anyone considering taking Humira, if it's affordable, don't hesitate and delay any longer. Speaking from my own experience I would urge you: go for it!

It's a miracle to me. Not just another blessing, nor a great blessing, but a miracle. Upon consideration... great or small, aren't all blessings miracles? :-)

Hee Haw

I love western boots. The style, the colors, the look, are all very appealing to me. Unfortunately I can not wear them. The RA has broadened my feet and disfigured a couple of toes.

I heard Cowboy Boots are extremely comfortable to wear. In my opinion, they go extremely well with any casual outfit and make a statement of a more free life-style. There is a wide selection of cowboy boots to suit any one's taste.

MetBoots.com offers all kinds of boots online. Western, Dress, Electric Hazard, Hiking, Motorcycle Boots and so many more. They provide great customer service and orders over $100.00 are free from shipping costs.
Let's round them up!!!
